Autism evaluation & support

Whether you’re seeking answers for the first time or looking for real support after a diagnosis, our goal is the same: to understand your child as an individual — their strengths as much as their challenges — and to build a plan that helps them thrive as exactly who they are.

01

What parents often notice

Autism is a spectrum, and no two autistic children are alike. Some signs parents wonder about:

  • Differences in eye contact, gestures, or back-and-forth conversation
  • Deep, focused interests and a love of routine or sameness
  • Sensory sensitivities — to sound, texture, light, or crowds
  • Finding social situations confusing, draining, or hard to read
  • Repetitive movements or a strong need for predictability
  • Language that developed differently — early, late, or unevenly

These are differences to understand, not simply deficits to fix. Good care starts from that stance.

02

How we can help

Autism evaluations

Thorough, thoughtful assessment to bring clarity — and to inform school, services, and support.

Social skills for teens

Practical, respectful support for navigating friendships and social life on their own terms.

Behavior support for parents

Strategies that reduce stress at home and play to your child’s strengths.

Co-occurring care

Treating the anxiety, ADHD, or mood challenges that often travel alongside autism.

03

Across every age

Younger children

Questions about language, play, social connection, and routines — and what support helps most.

School-age kids

Navigating friendships, sensory demands, and the classroom, with the right accommodations.

Teens

Identity, independence, social life, and the anxiety or mood challenges that can accompany them.

College-age young adults

Support for the leap to independence — routines, self-advocacy, and managing a new environment.

04

How we evaluate

  • An unhurried, individualized assessment — your child is a person, not a checklist
  • Understanding developmental history, strengths, and daily experience
  • Clarifying overlap with anxiety, ADHD, and learning differences
  • A clear, compassionate explanation and practical next steps
05

How we support your child & family

  • A strengths-based plan built around who your child actually is
  • Parent guidance that lowers daily friction and builds connection
  • Social and emotional support tailored to your child’s goals
  • Treatment of co-occurring anxiety, ADHD, or mood — Dr. Adam’s core expertise
  • School collaboration — accommodations, IEP/504 guidance, and working with teachers
06

Why families choose us

  • The same doctor every visit — continuity matters, especially for kids who value predictability
  • Same-week appointments , not a months-long wait for answers
  • Reachable between visits when questions or hard days come up
  • A respectful, whole-child approach — strengths first

Your doctor

Questions parents ask

My child was diagnosed elsewhere — can you still help?

Absolutely. Many families come to us for support and coordinated care after a diagnosis, including treating co-occurring anxiety, ADHD, or mood challenges.

Is a diagnosis going to “label” my child?

A good evaluation is about understanding, not labeling. Clarity often unlocks the right support at school and reduces everyone’s stress — including your child’s.

Do you provide ABA or speech therapy?

These are delivered by specialized providers. We’ll tell you exactly what we offer directly and coordinate trusted referrals for the rest.

How fast can we be seen?

Usually within the same week. If it’s urgent, tell us when you call.

Understand your child — and help them thrive.

It starts with a straightforward phone call to talk through what’s going on.
